‘Sometimes, friends are found in the most unlikely of places…’
Excitement, intrigue, wonder. At around 7 years old I felt all of these things, when I was first
contacted by my Star People. ‘Star People?’ you may ask. Yes. Others may refer to them as spirit guides or even guardian angels, but to me, they’ve always been my Star People; I call them this because that is what they asked me to call them, all those years ago. To be honest folks, I quite love the name, it hints that they are from beyond the stars, which feels quite magical to me.
My Star People come in all shapes and sizes, just like you or me. In comparison to us though, they are very tall, around 7 or 8ft if I gave an estimate. Their jaws are particularly large, and they have a perfectly rounded head. But what’s most incredible about these beings is not their long, pencil like fingers, nor the blue glow that twinkles around their body, no. What’s most incredible is their eyes, large, round plates like the sun, displaying a kaleidoscope of images. My wonderful guides do not have names. It’s funny, that’s not something I’ve ever asked from them, but for some reason I don’t feel that I need to know. In a way, I feel like I know everything about my Star People. I know that they are from different planets, way beyond our galaxy. I know that most of them are male, with both warm and cold energies. I know that despite their unusual characteristics and odd appearance, they are not scary, not at all, not to me. And folks, most importantly I know that I’m in charge, and that will always ring true.
There’s almost like an invisible cord that tethers us together, letting them know when I need them the most, and when I do, they’re always there. I’ve been helped out of some truly dark holes by my Star People; they’re always building me up, nudging me along, and helping to connect me with spirits who have passed. I owe a lot to my Star People, and it’s a true blessing to know that not only do I have lifelong guides, but lifelong friends too.
